Best of CES: VirtualGT Personal Racing Simulator
January 10th, 2008 by BallerHouse
VirtualGT, unveiled at CES, is the first personal racing simulator to offer an ultra-realistic driving experience. The simulator runs multiple microprocessors to create the illusion that you are going fast, and the force-feedback steering wheel transmits the vibrations you would expect from a high-performance racecar with a 1000 HP engine. VirtualGT also comes with a MasterCraft racing seat, a 37” plasma monitor, a high fidelity loudspeaker system, and a built-in hands-free intercom setup that enables you to communicate with two buddies outside the car while running at full-race audio levels.
Cost: $20,000

These are so my first big gaming purchase. The HP Blackbird may rival them, but with the built in 37″ screens and full on simulator feel these win the race.
