Michael Vick would have loved this one pre-trial…
Avid armor-maker Andy Spok and his company Pitbull Armory are in the business of crafting custom protective armor for dogs, squirrels, horses, and humans. Spok builds the armor from a variety of high-grade materials, including steel, aluminum, and “almost indestructible” HPDE plastic. According to Spok, the armor is made for “full speed, full contact SCA fighting or LARP events and costumes.” For those of you who are unfamiliar with these terms, like we were, SCA fighting is a type of martial art, and LARP stands for live action role-playing.
Pitbull armor, which the company specializes in, runs from $70 to over $125, and the wait time is 8-10 weeks. Squirrel armor costs $60, and horse armor starts at $200. Full human suits start at $650.
And if for some reason you want to arm your cat, chicken, or fox, Pitbull Armory has armor for them coming soon.
