Le Rêve: 47,000 Sq. Ft. Georgia Chateau w/ Private Golf Course
March 21st, 2008 by BallerHouse
Le Rêve, a 47,000 square foot mega estate located north of Atlanta, is possibly the most baller property we’ve ever seen listed for sale in the U.S. Set on 90 acres in Cumming, Georgia, the modern chateau comes with 82 rooms total, including seven bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, a bowling alley, a massage room, a retro diner, a toy train room, and an arcade, among others. The home’s lavish theater was designed to replicate the Fabulous Fox in downtown Atlanta. Also indoors are two elevators and 62 televisions.
The grounds at Le Rêve are equally, if not more impressive than the mansion’s interiors, as they contain a private 18 hole golf course, a four-acre private lake, a large heated pool, a pool house, a guesthouse, stables, a tennis court, a large playground, formal gardens, and a great lawn four times the length of a football field.
Le Rêve was built by an older couple, Hubert and Norma Humphrey. Hubert built his wealth with a marketing and mortgage company called the World Leadership Group after spending the first17 years of his career as a train conductor. The couple’s reason for selling the place is unknown, but we can only speculate that the house is way too large for an older couple, no matter how many grandchildren they might have.
The price? $45,000,000. Check out the thumbs below for a more in-depth look at this crib.
