If you want to liven up your bedroom ceiling, there isn’t a huge range of quality options. For one, you could hook up a ceiling mirror. Or you could transform your ceiling into the night sky with our latest great find, the Numinus StarDome.

Constructed from fiberglass, the Numinous StarDome comes with embedded cove LED lighting and a painted mural of “billowy” clouds. Depending on your mood, you can set the StarDome to resemble the night sky, sunrise, or sunset. The moon, shooting stars, and accurate constellations complete the night sky scene. And with the sunset and sunrise options, you actually see the light move across your StarDome, as you would outside.

In addition to bedrooms, Numinous has has installed StarDomes in home theaters, entryways, offices, and a variety of other rooms. To give off a spaceship-like vibe, the company can install the domes into side walls as faux windows. StarDomes are available in sizes ranging from 2-6 ft. in diameter, or in a larger 6-by-9 ft. Oval Grande size.

If the idea of a dome in your ceiling doesn’t round out well with you, then check out Numinus Star Tiles which can cover your entire ceiling with a star field. The Star Tiles come in squares and rectangles ranging in size from 2×2 to 4×8 feet. Pricing for the StarDome and Star Tiles are not listed, but if you’re interested the products and more information are available through Numinus.
