April 7th, 2008 by BallerHouse
On display now at the Brooklyn Museum is the latest collaboration from Louis Vuitton and iconic Japanese artist Takashi Murakami: a new camouflage print collection dubbed Monogramouflage. The collection, available at select Louis Vuitton stores starting June 15, includes luggage, handbags, small leather goods, costume jewelry, and ready-to-wear items. Outside the museum at 10 LV-sponsored street vendor style kiosks you’ll be able to cop authentic Murakami canvases and Vuitton product created for the occasion.
The new collection debuted at an event titled the Brooklyn Ball, held at the museum on April 3rd. Kanye West performed.
Ninety total works from Murakami, including Monogramouflage, will show at the Brooklyn Museum through July 13. General admission tickets run $10.
