iCoral: the $2,350 iPod Dock
April 8th, 2008 by BallerHouse
Can an iPod dock really be worth $2,350? Stand manufacturer Copulare thinks so. Its new iCoral iPod docking station is semi-unique in that it features a USB and S-Video ports, in addition to stereo analog outputs. Other than that, iCoral’s only distinguishing characteristic is its artificial coral surface, decorated with stovetop-looking swirls. Unless you’re a complete audio junkie, and even still, we could only recommend picking up the iCoral if you’re comfortable leaving the price tag attached in clear view of anyone that walks by.
