Lean Back in Chopper Chairs by Gene Gordon

If you can’t get enough chopper action, industrial designer Gene Gordon’s chopper chairs let you kick back chopper style in your living room. Gordon’s GothRod chair, pictured above, comes complete with springer suspension on the foot and backrests, as well as hand-machined billet parts and hand-stitched leather. Each customized frame piece is made with bent metal tubes inspired by motorcycle handlebars. Only 50 units of the GothRod chair will be sold to keep it exclusive. With prices starting at $13,000, it ought to come with an engine included. But, Gordon’s design pedigree, which includes work with legends Herman Miller and Don Chadwick, might be prestigious enough to justify the expense.
