The Jet Set Lounge by Jaime Hayon for Bisazza

Created for display at next week’s Milan furniture fair, Spanish designer Jamie Hayon’s Jet Set airplane lounge takes relaxation to new heights. While it’s a concept and no plans for production are apparent, Hayon’s design could give you a few ideas on how you could fly high in your own living room.
To show the potential of Bisazza mosaic, the plane is covered in white gold and fiberglass tiles, and the black and white striped floor below is constructed from Bisazza glass chip mosaic tiles. At the center of the plane is a circular lounge seat accessed by a staircase below. To dress up the wings, Hayon hooked them up with leather inserts and colored missiles. The only thing the Jet Set is missing is a place for the flatscreen. Two more images after the jump:
