Foosball Gets an Upgrade with 11 the Game
April 14th, 2008 by BallerHouse
On display in during the Milan Design Week (April 16-21) is “11: the beautiful game,” a designer foosball table built as a collaboration piece between GRO design and Tim model makers. Created to mimic the grand scale of “football” stadiums aroung the globe, 11 features a unique bathtub shape and chrome players resembling gingerbread men. The name 11 comes from the number of players on each side during a traditional soccer match. While no plans to produce the table are apparent, we hope to see it made available for sale soon. Only we’d prefer to see the teams more distinguished so that it’s easier to tell them apart.
