Eric Ehlenberger’s Neon Jellyfish Swim Above Your Head
April 23rd, 2008 by BallerHouseHailing out of New Orleans, artist Eric Ehlenberger works in glass, neon, and metal to create some eye-catching work for your art collection. The jellyfish seen above are individually crafted in glass and neon and hang via an acrylic coded stainless steel wire from the ceiling. Each jellyfish radiates it’s own one of a kind color scheme through a regular 12 volt DC adapter wall plug-in, and sells for $2500.
Eric’s artwork is varied in medium, but some of the images below caught our attention.
The Mosquito is one of Ehlenberger’s newest pieces and is made from acrylic, aluminum, and neon. Next to it you’ll find a wall sculpture named Woman III, made from aluminum and neon. The third is a piece titled Abstract Impressionist II: Realm of Neptune, which is a wall hanging. And last is one of the two galleries that hold the artist’s work in New Orleans. Eric’s other work includes floor and table sculptures, landscape and animal sculptures, commercial and residential installations, pricing for which can found on his website.
