Tueco Sorgente: a Smart Sunken Bathtub

With its new Sorgente bathtub, Italian tub maker Tueco has taken the concept of the plunge pool to the bathroom. Unlike other tubs, the Sorgente sits flush with its surrounding surface and can be left full, so that you can jump in at your convenience.

To make sure tub stays full, it fills automatically, and an internal filtration system keeps the water continuously clean. Eight Hydrosilence whirlpool jets provide a Jacuzzi-like experience but function quietly to keep it tranquil.

The Sorgente takes commands via a control panel and a remote control. Underwater lighting, a magnetic headrest, and a pull-out shower with a flexible hose complement the Sorgente’s other luxury features.
