Laidback Hip-Hop Inspired Pillows
April 28th, 2008 by BallerHouse
For the past two posts, we’ve covered some of our favorite designers that will be exhibiting at BKLYN Designs contemporary furniture show. Laidback is another exhibitor we’d like to bring into the spotlight.
Laidback is a hip-hop and pop culture inspired home décor brand that draws its design cues from street fashion. We’re a fan of their graphical pillows, particularly the Ol’ Play Vinyl pillows pictured above.
As Laidback describes all of its products, its pillows are “like a great pair of jeans… they get better with age, giving you a softer more comfortable spot hang out and style on.” They’ve also got a fresh urban look, which is rare to find in the world of interior design.
Ol’ Play Vinyl pillows come in platinum and gold, and they retail for $120 a pop. A cotton denim version of the pillow sells for $60 each and is available in three non-metallic colors.
