Roubini Rolls Out Fornasetti Art Rug Collection

June 3rd, 2008 by BallerHouse

roubini-rugs-1.jpgLuxury rug maker Roubini Rugs has unrolled its latest collection of handmade art rugs, recreating the archived works of 20th-century Milanese Renaissance man Piero Fornasetti. Each of the twenty-six rugs in the collection carry unique themes, from the woman’s lips in the Bacio rug pictured above to the serpent chomping the forbidden fruit in Amiamo il Serpente (thumb 1).

Despite the Renaissance inspiration, Roubini’s latest art rugs carry a fresh contemporary look that could work with a variety of interior design schemes. All 26 rugs are hand-knotted silk and wool pile, and are available in standard or custom sizes.
