If you’ve got $7.5 mil ready to fork over for a unique Los Angeles property, take a look at the Wolf’s Lair, a 3.3-acre walled and gated castle compound overlooking much of the city as well as Lake Hollywood. The historically significant crib sits high above LA’s Beachwood Canyon and features a main house with 5,485 square feet, eight bedrooms, and six bathrooms. Some of the more baller amenities on the grounds include a black bottom heart-shaped pool, a pool house, a cabana and a 1920’s speakeasy.

The Wolf’s Lair was built by real estate developer L. Milton Wolf in the late 1920’s. Wolf is one of three developers responsible for building the Hollywoodland development and installing the Hollywood sign, which originally read Hollywoodland and was used to promote the development. Back when Wolf occupied the property, he reportedly entertained his mistress in a lavish two-bedroom apartment located under the guest house.

Music executive Jay Faires and his wife Debbie Matenopoulos (formerly on The View and currently on E’s Daily Ten) are the current owners and sellers.
