Creating an upscale skate or surf theme for your crib isn’t as hard as you might image. You can hook up a row of modern skateboard art decks, a colorful piece of surf art from Drew Brophy, or vintage skate and surfboards from Surfing Cowboys. The Venice Beach, California based shop stocks a solid collection of old school skate and surf pieces, ranging from 1960’s Nash skateboards ($150) to 1938 paddleboards ($4,200).
Surfing Cowboys current inventory also includes a vintage skimboard, a couple of historically significant surfboards, a cool old Hawaiian beer tray, rare hula girl figurines and ashtrays, and an assortment of other interesting surf and skate memorabilia. If you’re looking to furnish a beach house or just add some surf or skate flavor to your city pad, Surfing Cowboys is definitely worth a look.
