The 12-foot wide weatherproof movie screen displays larger-than-life images with crisp 720p digital resolution, and an included pair of 80-watt speakers pumps out cinema-style sound. For a total price of $2,999, substantially less than a quality indoor theater setup, the Backyard Outdoor Theater System also includes an Epson MovieMate 72 swiveling projector as well as portable storage bags for the whole system. Twenty-minute setup and breakdown times might just be quick enough to justify taking the movie screen over to a friend’s house for the night for a few games of PS3.
