Four Ways to Hook Up Your House for Halloween
October 14th, 2008 by BallerHouse
With Halloween creeping up on us, our friends at This Old House have published an extensive guide of Halloween-inspired home furnishings guaranteed to make your crib a little bit more baller this October 31st. We’ve taken their 16-item list and narrowed it down to our four favorites:
1. The Manhattan Casket Pool Table
Price: $4,995+
Crafted by MHP Enterprises Ltd. the Manhattan casket pool table makes the perfect Halloween party centerpiece. The high-quality construction and optional luxury finishes, such as 14-karat-gold or mother-of-pearl inlaid sights, may justify leaving this uniquely-shaped pool table out in the off-season.
2. Cast Hand Candle Holder

Price: $75
The Bestow Vase/Candle Holder from Areaware is sure to be a shocker. Make it even more surprising with a little fake blood dripping down the hand.
3. Coffin Couches

Price: app. $3,500
Made from real coffins, not used due to cosmetic inconsistencies, Coffin Couches come upholstered with cushy leather or vinyl padding in crazy custom color combinations. For Halloween, we’d recommend starting with black like the couch shown above. But for year-round use, options like Dodger blue and red are available.
4. Skull Chamber Chair

Price: upon request
From Atelier van Lieshout, the fiberglass Sensory Deprivation Skull opens and closes from the front. Makes an ideal party throne, or a good place to lock up any claustrophobic guests for a quick scare.
