Baller by the Pound: Chesterfields’ William Blake Couch
October 27th, 2008 by BallerHouse
Now that the British pound has dropped in price relative to the US dollar (it’s currently at $1.57), it’s now at least semi-practical to look toward the UK as a source for your luxury goods. Case in point, take British furniture maker Chesterfields 1780’s new black leather William Blake couch. The sofa features a high-grade baller black hides, as well as a price that cannot be beat: 1,195 GBP or about $1,880. The look is fresh, the color is in, and the quality appears to be outstanding for the modest retail price.
If you’ve got an extra $4,700+ to spare, we’d also highly recommend checking out the Godfather-looking Porters chair pictured after the jump.

For the first time since we can remember, there are deals on luxury products to be had in the UK.

[…] Sounds like a bargain, doesn’t it? I can barely believe that happens in England … [via BallerHouse] Posted In: […]

I wish this sofa came in at the $1900 mark you posted. The prices I’m seeing in the US are much higher.
