Mobiado Phone with Damascus Steel
October 28th, 2010 by DesEveryone seems to be jumping on the Damascus Steel bandwagon suddenly.
Mobiado are famous for their luxury mobile phones & they’ve just announced a new edition to their range: the Mobiado 105 Damascus – a luxury mobile phone with a casing that is hand-forged using ancient hot-forging techniques that date back to 1700 AD.
The phone is unlocked, capable of working with quad-band GSM/EGSM & dual-band WCDMA network networks. It has a 2-inch 16 million color display featuring Nokia’s S40 operating system, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a microUSB port & over 1GB of internal storage. The music player supports AAC, eAAC+, & MP3 audio formats.
Because the casing for each of the 105 Damascus’ are hand-made, no 2 are alike, so you’re guaranteed exclusive uniqueness when you purchase one of these elite phones.
The steel frame is precision cut with CNC machining, hand-polished & then etched to reveal the beautiful patterns of the folded metal.
Sapphire crystal covers the front & back of the phone, with stainless steel buttons that have been glass-bead blasted to give them a matte texture.
The phone is available for purchase already at $4,180 from Mobiado & it’s a perfect early Christmas gift for a hard-working Baller in need of a luxury phone…
