The Swarovski encrusted Marlboro Phone by Dirty Addiction

How do you deal with a cigarette and cell phone addiction? No, they haven’t come up with a blingy nicotine patch just yet. Nor is there a luxury ‘smokers and cell phone users anonymous’ out there. To encourage your addictions a little more, Dirty Addiction has come up with a smart solution in the form of a Swarovski crystal studded Marlboro phone.

There are supposedly over 1000 Swarovski crystals affixed to the phone. It also boasts a hidden compartment that can accommodate 7 cigarettes. If you’d rather not store cigarettes, use the space creatively to stash your baller money, credit cards, chewing gum or anything you please. The phone is unbranded (this sure looks like a Chinese product) and as you probably guessed, it comes unlocked and plan free. It is compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile and Cingular service providers.

Other noteworthy features include a micro SD card slot (which can accommodate upto 1 GB microSD card), dual SIM capability, SMS/MMS capability, a 1.8 inch LCD screen and a CMOS camera (resolution 640 X 480). The Phone is GSM and not CDMA compliant and uses a 90/1800 GSM frequency. If you’re a music lover or you’re just ringtone crazy, the phone can even play MP3 and MP4 files. Two lithium ion batteries and a power charger are included with the package. It supports English and Chinese languages (Okay, now we’re able to fully confirm the fact that it is a Chinese product indeed!).

Given the origin, we’re not able to verify any warranties/guarantees included with the phone, however, it appears that the phone will definitely work for a year. The phone comes at a price tag of $450. The phone, of course, doesn’t compare at all to a Vertu Constellation or even a Celsius LeDix that we reviewed sometime ago. The features are pretty basic and with no brand backing, it is just for the folks who love bling and would be satisfied with some degree of sparkle. The phone looks cool, nevertheless, and would definitely attract stares when they see you using a cigarette packet for a cell phone headset.

As a heads up, the brand Marlboro does not officially endorse this nameless phone. Or is there a lawsuit waiting to happen?
