Montegiro, a company out of Germany, has dropped the most luxurious turntable we’ve seen to date: the Lusso. While it costs $47K, as much as a nice car, the Lusso features an extremely innovative design composed of three height-adjustable connected cones made from alternate layers of aluminum and black acrylic. A newly developed, ultra precise synchronous motor is suspended in one of the cones, while another supports the standard 10″ Da Vinci Nobile carbon fiber arm and Montegiro MG1 titanium cartridge. The central inverted cone supports the record. A special version of the Lusso is also available, which has a fourth cone supporting a second 9″ SME 5009 tonearm.

Industrial designer Reynold Rodriquez’s DJ tables are so fresh they’ll give you an excuse to make your DJ gear a permanent display item in your home. Made from composite wood and finished in a variety of exotic wood veneers, the DJ tables hold two turntables and a mixer, and the tables conceal almost all exposed wiring.
Like BornRich, our favorite Reynold Rodriquez table of the four on sale at SpaceTek is the 2.1 DJ Table pictured above, which retails for $3,120. That said, we’re a fan of all of Rodriguez’s high-style DJ tables, and we’ve pictured the other three in the thumbs below. Prices range from $600 for a floating CDJ unit (thumb 1) up to $3,875 for the 3.1 DJ Table (thumb 3). The 00DJ Table in thumb 2 sells for $2,970. No matter which one you choose, you can be confident that you’re spinning on one of the best looking DJ consoles on the market.

Designed by eccentric German designer and aerodynamics expert, Professor Luigi Colani, the K 208 Pegasus manages to “free the grand piano of its traditional form” and still produce superior quality sound when played. Professor Colani, who commutes between Tokyo, Los Angeles, Berlin and Paris, is at war with all corners and edges. So he paired up with renowned German piano maker, Schimmel Pianos, to create the futuristic K 208 Pegasus in his favorite shape, the oval.
On the piano well-thought-out details maximize comfort, like an extendable, integrated piano stool and an electrically-driven lift mechanism that silently raises or lowers the top.
So how much does the Schimmel K 208 Pegasus cost? While we were unable to obtain exact pricing, we do know that Miami’s Delano Hotel recently dropped $200k on a Lucite piano from the same Schimmel Art Collection for its Lenny Kravitz-designed lounge, the Florida Room. The Florida Room’s Schimmel is a replica of the piano Kravitz keeps in his own house.
