The folks at custom gold-plating company Goldstriker have given a 24k golden touch to artist/engineer Lee J. Rowland’s LED Watch Table, with the custom piece selling for $43,150. This one might even be too gaudy for us, but we’re a fan of the table itself, which has been precision engineered in steel, glass, acrylic and flock lining for the drawer interiors. The best part about Rowland’s Watch Table is the LED face, which displays the time down to the second and can be programmed to display custom messages up to 8 characters long. Without the plating, the watch table sells for $37,000.

In addition to the Watch Table Lee J. Rowland can produce a variety of other completely unique custom furniture pieces and accessories, definitely worth a look.

Here’s an opportunity to add some rare rifles to your gun collection and catch a round of golf or two at one of Scotland’s finest five star resorts. On August 25th, Sotheby’s is hosting a Fine Modern & Vintage Sporting Guns auction at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland’s Perthshire countryside. The auction lot is stocked with interesting pieces, ranging from a rare pair of Luciano Bosis engraved rifles (70,000—90,000 GBP, about $132,000-$170,000) to a variety of accessories in the sub $2,000 price range. Backgammon isn’t a game we’d typically associate with ballers under the age of say 60. But the new Geoffrey Parker limited edition alligator backgammon table from 20ltd has made us think twice. The luxury backgammon table features an alligator case, Sterling silver inlaid Shagreen checkers, alligator dice cups lined in Shagreen, and gold finishes. Each game comes with an identification number etched into a disc above the handle, indicating where it fits into of the 20 total editions made. Everything about this table says boss. Including the nearly $18,000 price tag.

Want the look of a polar bear rug in your crib, but feeling to guilty to pull another one of these “vulnerable species” out of the wild? Reykjavik based designer Sruli Recht has just completed a three-meter imitation polar bear rug, titled the Ice Bear rug, that will be available in a limited release of 10 come July. Crafted from 15 Icelandic sheepskins, the designer has pieced the rugs together from poster diagrams like those found in old butcher shops. Each of the imitation polar bear skins comes cleanly tied up with two of Recht’s designer ~Elt belts. The majority of the rugs will be offered in Arctic white (pictured). Although black, brown and albino versions will also be available.
