Here’s one for a classy & sexy, yet masculine room – the Base Floor Lamp available from Y Lighting.

The lamp is designed by Tunisian designer Tom Dixon, who took over as the head of furniture retailer Habitat’s design studio in the UK. By 1999 he had become the Head of International Design for the company & became Creative Director of the company in 2001. He’s still designing stunning pieces & the Base Floor Lamp is a perfect example of his exceptional eye for beautiful forms in everyday objects.
