Every baller home has its own share of collectibles and each has a different story to tell. If you, like other ballers, love sculptures and works of art, it will be worth your while to check out British artist Antony Micallef’s sculpture series titled ‘The Idol Kids of Today’. Micallef arrived on the art scene in 2000 and won the second prize in the BP Portrait Award Competition. His art consists of a superb blend of ‘political imagery’ and ‘contemporary expressionism’ and that has been his mainstay. Needless to say that he is world renowned and if you were to bring home one of his prized works, you would be joining the ranks of A-list celebrities including the Jolie-Pitts and artist Damien Hirst. Ever wanted something different, one-of-a-kind and of course, baller (else you wouldn’t be a regular on our site) for your luxury estate? May we suggest a wind chime? No, not those single chimes that are available for a couple of dollars but an artistic kinetic sculpture and interactive instrument called Chimecco by designer Mark Nixon. This art object and music instrument will excite you, especially if you have a home by the sea or if you live in a windy location. It was recently displayed at the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in Aarhus Denmark. You will have to agree that Chimecco is indeed the most unique and baller wind chime in the market right now. Come summer and your garden will be blossoming with the prettiest flora and fauna that money can buy. This unique and eye-catching fountain is slightly less imposing in a photograph than it is in real life. Looking at it from this perspective, you might assume it is roughly the size of your average painting, especially as it has been photographed on a plain black background with nothing to indicate size or scale. Whatever size you might assume it to be, chances are you won’t be anything near its true dimensions – 8 feet x 8 feet in length, and 6 inches wide.
