Champagne has always been a celebratory drink, and real celebrations call for pulling out all the stops with the most expensive toys you can find; think Lil Jon. So next time you celebrate with a bottle or two of champagne, serve it up in these $400,000 diamond and crystal champagne glasses. The champagne glasses were chiseled out of 8kg blocks of rock quartz crystal and took 5 jewelers 3 months to put together. The two glasses were designed by John Calleija who claims they are “the world’s most expensive champagne glasses.” We don’t doubt it as these two challises, otherwise known as “the real pimp cups”, are blinged-out with 1,700 white and pink diamonds totaling 19 carats, and platinum 18 carat white and rose gold.

The world’s most expensive diamond and crystal champagne glasses will be presented at the opening of John Calleija’s second store in London, after which they’ll go home with a Melbourne business man who plans to turn them into family heirlooms. Our question; does he have any cute daughters?

What makes a bottle of cognac worth $2 million (£1 million to be specific)? Sixty-five hundred diamonds, handmade crystal dipped in 24 Karat gold, sterling platinum finishes, and a 100-year-aged Henri IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac inside. Packaged by jeweler Jose Davalos for Mexican tequila distilling company Tequila Ley .925, the bottle is specifically intended for buyers in Dubai.

The company also plans to produce three less expensive bottles filled with the same cognac, priced at $270k, $170k, and $18k a piece. Tequila Ley will make these more affordable bottles available to experts and independent collectors around the world.

If you like expensive Cognac, but $18k isn’t in your budget, check out our Top 10 Baller Bar Bottles for a slightly less expensive alternative.

A DJ’s Dream: World’s Largest Music Collection For Sale

The world’s largest music collection, owned by avid collector Paul Mawhinney, is up for grabs at a cost of $3 million. In the collection are about 1.5 million 45s, a million+ LPs, 300,000 CDs, thousands of 78s, and a lot of miscellaneous cassettes, eight-tracks, etc. Most of the music comes from independent record labels and every genre of American music is represented. Unsurprisingly, more than half of the records in the collection are new.

Mawhinney bought his first record 60 years ago and hasn’t stopped buying them since. When his collection hit 160,000 records the Mawhinney’s wife forced him to move them from his house to a 16,000 square foot climate-controlled warehouse nearby. The owner preferably seeks a museum buyer and cites advancing age, declining health, and associated financial concerns as his reasons for selling.
