This fully functional and kinetic interpretation of a desk designed by Dale Mathis won’t finish any of your work for you. But it will go to work for you, spinning away and entertaining you, while your mind is working out how to take over the world. Dale Mathis is a largely self-taught artist whose work “infringes on the viewer’s perception of reality, with a keen eye for detail that causes even the minute to become a major focus on every piece he creates.”

Responding to the new custom G-Shock trend, Pharell commissioned two iced-out G-Shocks watches of his own, covered in black and pink jewels as well as BAPE/BBC graphics. According to Jedi P himself, “since a lot of people are starting to get these G-Shock done, I had to end the game!” We’re partial to the black once, although the pink also holds its own. Make sure to peep Pharrell’s new limited edition furniture line if you haven’t seen it yet.

Sexy furniture masked by seemingly innocent sources of inspiration appears to be a trend that’s taking hold. Yesterday, we showed you Pharrell’s Perspective chair, “representing the love between a man and a woman.” Now, we’re bringing you Casamania’s Him & Her chairs, apparently inspired by the Bible. Designed by Fabio Novembre and launched at the Milan Furniture Fair last month, the polyethylene chairs are available in black, red and white. Fabio Novembre cites the following passage from Genesis as his source of inspiration.
