This home is a perfect example of one where history meets the modern world. It is located in Fairfax, Virginia and has been home to Thomas Lord Fairfax (who was better known as a friend of President George Washington) in the mid eighteenth century. This is also one of the oldest privately owned townhouses in Fairfax. The home was built in 1801 by William Yeaton who designed the tombs for George & Martha Washington at Mt. Vernon.
