Fit for a Boss: Gold Eagle Table from “The Departed”

The movie and production credits page at New York antiques dealer, Newel, reads like a comprehensive list of every period flick that’s been shot on the East Coast. American Gangster, Wall Street, and The Departed are three of our favorites on the list. Antiques used in each of these movies are available at a wide variety of prices, with some items going for as little as a couple hundred bucks. We’ve chosen to show you the most lavish piece we could find: a French Empire gilt carved eagle table used in the shootings of The Departed and The Thomas Crown Affair. Details on the table are limited, but we do know the price: $285,000.
