Neptune’s new two-person Agata tub offers a fresh take on the whirlpool bathtub concept, combining clean, minimalist design with all the futures you’d expect in an outdoor spa. The double-skirted tub comes decked out in exotic hardwoods and features two built-in back cushions. Chromatherapy and an iPod docking station are optional. Four color choices include biscuit, bone, sterling silver and white. Prices for the Agata range from $2,400 to over $4,600 depending on which of the three jet configurations you select.

$100k Ultimate Spa Shower from TAG Signature

March 6th, 2008 by BallerHouse

tag-shower.jpg

Complete with 18 computer-controlled showerheads, the Silver TAG shower blasts water to six independently controlled zones: overhead, shoulders, upper torso, lower torso, upper legs, and lower legs. Each zone can be adjusted to different pressure and temperature settings via a touch screen monitor, which also comes configured with several sequences designed by spa specialists.

Guys can turn off the floor-mounted ass cannon to keep their dignity in tact. And the tile patterns don’t come standard, so you can select a classier color scheme, which probably makes sense if you’re dropping $100,000 on the hardware alone.

Check out the video to see the shower in action.

Ripple Faucet Glows to Display Temperature

February 27th, 2008 by BallerHouse

ripple-faucet.jpg

Smith Newnam and Touch 360 Studio want to make sure you never burn yourself at the bathroom sink again, so they’ve developed the Ripple faucet to glow red or blue to denote water temperature. To control the Ripple faucet, you maneuver an electronically-secured metal ball on top of the faucet’s frosted glass surface. A flash heating system ensures that water in the water channel isn’t hot until it’s ready to be mixed, which prevents scolding. No word on price or availability yet, but we hope to see this product hit the market soon. We also hope they’ve got a kitchen sink in the works.

One more image after the jump shows how the Ripple faucet works.

Hansgrohe Raindance Rainfall Shower

Hansgrohe’s Raindance Rainfall is the world’s first horizontal rain panel, offering a shower experience like no other. Mounted flush with the wall, the Raindance Rainfall projects far into the room and comes with three unique spray modes:

  1. “the 240 mm overhead shower with AIR function provides you with a particularly expansive rain shower;
  2. the Whirl function gives you a powerful massage with several jets; and
  3. the unique broad flood jet places you under a lush waterfall.”

The setup will cost you about $3,000 plus installation and is available through various retailers in the UK. We’d like to know how much it would cost for ten minutes under the Raindance Rainfall, chick included.
