Hollywood star Brad Pitt has officially listed his sprawling Malibu beach house for $13.75M. What is official now was also unofficially listed for an unrealistic $18M way back in 2009. The actor bought the property in 2005, soon after his split from Jen Aniston for $8.4M. The location of the gated mid-century home is next to perfect between the Pacific and Point Mugu State Park. No news on why the actor has decided to sell this property but it seems as though his then intended bachelor pad is getting a little too small for his ever expanding brood. Following his death in May 2010, noted Hollywood actor and director of the ‘Easy Rider’ and ‘Blue Velvet’ fame, Dennis Hopper’s mega Venice Beach home in Beverly Hills, California was on the market for $6.2M. It is back on the market again this year for an increased price of $6.495M. The main home by Brian Murphy is very unusual looking with its corrugated metal (aluminum and steel) exterior. Behind it, is a three two story townhouse designed by famous architect Frank Gehry. The other buildings on this 15,500 square foot lot include a pool house and a 100 year old guest cottage.
