Originally constructed for an international customer who wanted to keep a handgun safely stored next to him while he slept, Hollandia’s SAFE-T Bed was designed with a small safe built into the base of the bed frame. Located underneath the mattress, at the joint where the base of the bed meets the headboard, the small safe is camouflaged by cloth and is accessed with a small key. The bed also comes equipped with a motorized, hidden television integrated into the foot board.
To hook a SAFE-T bed up for yourself, you are looking at a $20,400 price tag. Or you can add the safe feature to any of Hollandia’s Platinum Luxe beds for $399.
Without a doubt, the SAFE-T Bed is the most upscale way to stay strapped while you sleep. Follow the jump for a close-up of the safe.

Back in March we gave you a glimpse at Safretti’s rounded, clean-burning wall fireplaces. Now, the green fireplace maker has introduced a rectangular fireplace unit dubbed the Gaya. What makes the Gaya unique is that its flame appears to emerge from a slit in the front of the unit. And the slit is finished in a fiery red color to give the green fireplace a bold look. The design is simple and clean, and the torch-like effect is unique. We think the Gaya would make a baller addition to any bedroom or contemporary living area.
