There’s nothing like a luxury gadget to set you apart & the great thing about Stuart Hughes‘ creations is that they’re never mass-produced. The famous designer is well-known for taking everyday gadgets & blinging them out with precious metals & diamonds.
His latest creation is the MacBook Air Supreme Ice Edition & it sure is a stunner; 53 flawless diamonds (totalling 25.5 carats) encrust the platinum Apple logo, that adorns the solid platinum case housing the actual hardware. Obviously the 2500 grams of platinum make for quite a heavy gadget, so the rest is made from aluminium with a high-polish finish.
If you’re thinking of getting one you’d better hurry – there are only 10 available & they’re retailing at about $210,000, so this really is one of those cases of “Hurry, while stocks last”!
