The Thync Universal Home Remote Brings More Control to the Crib

Everything in the crib is going remote control, from the whirlpool bathtub to the massaging toilet. So how are you supposed to keep all of your remote controls straight? Art Institute of Pittsburgh student David Chacon has conceived a practical solution: the Thync Universal Remote. The concept is similar to a universal remote that you’d use to control all the gadgets in your home entertainment system, except the Thync can control virtually every electronic function in your pad. Tuned to work at different frequencies, the Thync works with home electronics, kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, garage doors, and just about anything else you can point a remote at. While Chacon’s universal home remote is still a concept, we expect to see a similar production model come out in the near future.
