San Francisco-based Upper Playground is always putting out fresh designs from the biggest urban artists, and their Fifty24SF pillow line is no exception. We’ve got four Fifty24SF pillows on our couches and have been a fan since we spotted them this past summer. So, we thought we’d give you a quick look at two of our favorite pillow designs from the current Fifty24SF lineup. Pictured above left is a clean zebra pattern by artist Bryan Flynn. To the right you’ll see a patterned light bulb on a black background by Cody Hudson. Both pillows sell for $40 each and can be purchased online.

Fifty24SF is an awesome art gallery with locations in San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. We hit up the San Francisco location on a pretty frequent basis, as it’s conveniently located about a mile from where we live and adjacent to one of our favorite clothing stores, Upper Playground. The gallery has a reputation for bringing in some of the biggest and most promising contemporary artists from around the world. Their pieces are almost always controversial and off the hook.
At the moment, they’ve got a ridiculously good selection of works by Heavyweight Production House (HVW8), a collection of artists from Montreal. We thought we’d give you a look:
Pictured above left is “Mad Professor,” an acrylic on canvas original by Gene Pendon of HVW8 that’s listed at $3,300. Above right you’ll see “Ali” in the same medium selling for $5,500.
