Who says wine racks have to be boring & old-fashioned?
Thanks to Rocket Design, the Italian company who are mixing it up on the design scene, you can outfit your pad with some funky retro-styled furnishings, like this Wine Jack wine rack.
The company will be presenting their eye-catching designs at the Milan International Furniture Fair’s YoungDesignerBook exhibit next week.

These sculptures would look cool as decorative objects. But add to them the fine functionality of a radiator and they suddenly take the step from modern art to funky home must-have items. The RocKandRoll radiator was designed by Karim Rashid for Italian design company ID-EE. Karim Rashim is a world acclaimed artist and is featured in permanent exhibitions in top museums including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and in San Francisco. Now you have the opportunity to show his artwork in your living space. The RocKandRoll piece will run you $2,700 plus shipping. If you’re looking for a place to store your mags, you could always hook up a magazine rack. Or you could do something a little different and go for a Newstable, the new creation from French firm Youlka Design.
The stylish table has been designed to hold magazines and newspapers. Unfortunately, the holes are open on both sides, so you’ll have to find another spot to place your drinks. Drink drawback aside, we think the Newstable would make a dope end table.

Earlier this year, high-end denim brand Diesel and luxury Italian furniture maker Moroso announced a joint venture, under which Moroso would produce a line of furniture under Diesel’s “Successful Living” brand name. Well, the first Successful Living collection is out and the results are pretty dope.

Congrats to designer Nick Trincia for taking first in Yanko Design’s RELAX contest with his Fluid Rocker concept. Covered in felt on the front and bottom, the rocker provides for a quiet rocking experience as well as a comfortable surface to kick back on. The high gloss fiberglass underside complements the dope look.
