The Grotto WineBar: the Ultimate Home Wine Machine
June 10th, 2008 by BallerHouse
The Grotto WineBar is a must-have for any serious wine collector or anyone interested in creating his or her own home wine bar. As the only commercial-type wine preservation and dispenser unit meant specifically for the crib, the WineBar controls temperatures down to 45 degrees, keeps uncorked bottles fresh for up to 60 days, and provides three serving options (taste, half and full glass). Storage and pouring options on this residential wine machine are controlled via LCD screens and a touch control panel, allowing you to manage everything from varietals, vintage, temperature settings, and pouring size volumes.
The WineBar holds four bottles, although its modular design allows you to connect it with additional WineBar units to increase your bottle capacity. We’ve seen them hooked up in different stations arranged to create the ultimate self-serve wine bar experience. By itself the Grotto WineBar retails for $5,000 with the pictured cabinet sold separately. If the cabinet above isn’t your style, the black and stainless steel finished wine machine is will fit in most standard 24″ cabinet units. Follow the jump for another picture and the product link.
