The Local River: Aquaponic “Fish-Farm-cum-Kitchen-Garden”

You’ve probably seen or heard of aquaponic kitchen gardens. But, unless you’re familiar with French designer Mathieu Lehanneur, it’s unlikely you’ve ever seen one with a fish tank attached. Lehanneur’s Local River invention, on display at the New York’s Artists Space Gallery starting April 25th, is a “fish-farm-cum-kitchen-garden” capable of holding a variety of freshwater fish meant for eating.
