Looking to cop a nice luxury pool table, but don’t want to drop five+ figures? Up until now, finding a high-quality luxury pool table for less than $10K has been a challenge. No longer.
We’ve brought on a new manufacturer who hand crafts high-quality custom wood tables, including the NC-17 billiards table shown above and the Northumberland pool table shown here. Both tables start at approximately $6,000 and are available in all sizes.
In addition to pool tables, this manufacturer also produces some sweet luxury Texas holdem poker tables, also offered at recession-friendly prices.
To top it off, the lead time on all these tables ranges from three to six weeks. If you’re familiar at all with the custom game table space, you know that such short lead times are practically unheard of.
Get your orders in now before the manufacturer raises prices.

If you’re baller enough to hook up a basketball court for your crib but want to shave down the costs, Hungarian company Graboplast has a good solution: padded vinyl flooring. Just like the fake-wood-vinyl you might consider installing in your home as an alternative to real hardwood, the sport court version looks extremely close to the real deal, and it can be customized in a variety of colors and patterns.
Why we like it:
- It’s a much better looking alternative than the typical plastic honeycomb flooring you typically see on most non-wood indoor sport courts.
- The PVC foam layer below the surface helps absorb impact, making vinyl basketball flooring easy on the joints.
- The surface is durable, so you can beat it up.

Getting up at six in the morning to hit the waves is great no matter what you’re riding, but a custom built handcrafted Balsa surfboard will take your riding to another level. An average fiberglass board only lasts above 18-24 months in top shape, while a Balsa board can stay in top shape for up to ten years. You can design your own custom Balsa surfboard down to the wood inlay design, the number of fins and fin size. Balsa boards are the hardest boards to crack or break due to the quality wood and drop in to waves with unprecedented grace. BJ Surf Shop has each Balsa surfboard handcrafted by a Master Balsa Board craftsman in Ecuador.
