World’s Most Expensive Cognac Bottle: $2 Million
March 26th, 2008 by BallerHouseWhat makes a bottle of cognac worth $2 million (£1 million to be specific)? Sixty-five hundred diamonds, handmade crystal dipped in 24 Karat gold, sterling platinum finishes, and a 100-year-aged Henri IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac inside. Packaged by jeweler Jose Davalos for Mexican tequila distilling company Tequila Ley .925, the bottle is specifically intended for buyers in Dubai.
The company also plans to produce three less expensive bottles filled with the same cognac, priced at $270k, $170k, and $18k a piece. Tequila Ley will make these more affordable bottles available to experts and independent collectors around the world.
