Tueco Sorgente: a Smart Sunken Bathtub

With its new Sorgente bathtub, Italian tub maker Tueco has taken the concept of the plunge pool to the bathroom. Unlike other tubs, the Sorgente sits flush with its surrounding surface and can be left full, so that you can jump in at your convenience.

Tueco Rotator: Don’t Pull Your Pants Down Yet

Despite its wall-mounted position and urinal-like design, Tueco’s new Rotator bathroom fixture is a fully functional rotating bathtub and shower. The wider-lipped end serves as the tub portion, while the shallower side acts as the shower floor. To transition from one function to the next, the wheel-shaped fixture slowly rotates around.

Israeli designer Ron Arad crafted the uniquely-shaped Rotator from Duralight, Tueco’s proprietary malleable solid surface material.
